Get Goyo ready to help.

Turn on the iPhone switches, then choose the calls you want to block. Goyo is free to use.

Turn protection on

  1. Open Goyo → Settings → Protection and tap Turn on in iPhone settings.
  2. On Call Blocking & Identification, enable Goyo — CallID for your own rules and Goyo-LiveCall for Goyo's shared list.
  3. Return to Goyo and check that both rows show On.

You can also find the switches in iPhone Settings → Apps → Phone → Call Blocking & Identification. If Goyo-LiveCall is unavailable, contact support; its service availability is separate from your personal rules.

Choose what to block

On Home, enter at least three digits under Numbers that start with, review the preview, then tap Block these numbers. Use a local starting group or begin with + and the country code. Open Number length if the preview needs a different full number length.

To block a single caller, choose Your lists → Block one number. You can type the complete number or paste it from Phone → Recents. Wait for Goyo to finish applying the change; broad groups can take longer or exceed the iPhone list's capacity.

A change is still pending or a call gets through

Check the status on Home, keep Goyo open while it applies the list, and follow any retry or capacity message. Confirm the iPhone switches are on. Check the starting digits and number length, and whether the caller is in your Always allow list or Contacts. A number outside your chosen rules and the shared list can ring.

A saved rule does not by itself confirm that iOS has applied it. Blocking depends on iOS, number formatting, service availability, and which list covers the caller. Goyo cannot guarantee that every unwanted call will be blocked.

Keep an important caller ringing

Use Home → Your lists → Always allow to add an exception to your personal Goyo rules. This cannot override Goyo-LiveCall, which uses one shared list for everyone. To stop that shared list from blocking a caller, turn off Goyo-LiveCall in iPhone settings and contact support about the group shown under Blocked by Goyo.

Pause or remove a rule

In Goyo → Settings, turn off Block unwanted calls to pause your own rules. This does not switch off Goyo-LiveCall; use its separate iPhone switch to pause the shared list.

To remove an entry, find it in Home → Your lists, tap its minus control, then Remove. Wait for iOS to accept the update. Another rule can still cover that caller. Removing your own rule does not remove a group from the shared list or withdraw a request you already sent.

Ask for a group to be added for everyone

If Goyo offers a shared-list request after applying a rule, you can enter your email and phone number and choose Send. Goyo reviews requests; queued or waiting-for-capacity status does not mean the group is live. Notification permission is optional. Read the privacy policy for the information sent with a request.

Contact support
